A Twist of Words

Sometimes I wish the world would stop spinning.

The thoughts would stop rolling

The heart would stop beating

The music would stop playing

The talking would stop chattering

The wind would stop blowing

The hills would stop singing

The doors would stop knocking

The bells would stop ringing

The clock would stop ticking

The river would stop running



The eyes would stop tearing

The hand would stop writing

The feet would stop walking

The pupils would stop learning

The band would stop making

The children would stop laughing

The night would stop yearning

The day would stop burning

The car would stop racing

The breathing would stop hurting.

But then.....I wouldn't  exist.
